Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time (Contract)
- Location: Chula Vista, CA
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of Current School Year
- Compensation: $48-$56 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Caseload: School-based, specific details regarding age range and student needs will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
