Teletherapy Job Opening: Part-Time School Occupational Therapist | OR License Required

Apply here - Sunbelt Staffing is teaming up with a school district in the Portland area! We are searching for a talented occupational therapist to start as soon as possible. 

Job Overview:

• Work from home! 
• 20 hours per week - approximately 15 hours for direct services and a few extra hours for planning 
• They have a schedule set for hours on M, W, Th, F (not working on Tuesday).
• 15-18 students 
  • Students in grades K-12 
• Primarily mild-moderate disabilities 

Duties:

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes

Necessary Qualifications:

• Active OT license in Oregon
• 2+ years in a school-based setting
• Previous teletherapy experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• School-based telehealth experience
• Assistive Tech knowledge
• Ability to communicate with caregivers effectively and empathetically 
• Candidates must conduct themselves professionally
• Organized and patient

Technology Requirements:

• Must have a computer that is less than 5 years old
• Must have a working web camera
• Must have high-speed internet capabilities
• Candidates must go through a short tech-screening
