We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to students in K-12 settings. As a travel OT, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and populations, supporting students in reaching their educational and developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ functional performance and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with various disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and adapt the learning environment.
- Provide direct therapy services, including fine motor skills, sensory integration, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Travel to multiple schools and districts as assigned, with flexibility to relocate for different assignments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or willingness to obtain state licensure).
- Previous experience in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and travel assignments.
