You’ll work across several school sites, serving a caseload of about 32 direct students and providing approximately 800 minutes of therapy weekly. Schedules are flexible within the school day (roughly 8:00–4:00, 7.5 hours per day), giving you autonomy to organize your day with collaborative oversight at the start of the year. You will ensure each student assigned receives the support they need weekly.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Missouri
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with on-site teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to assigned students in multiple schools
- Adapt and adjust interventions to meet IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and occupational therapists to support student growth
- Organize weekly schedules, balancing student needs and building requirements under guidance at the year’s start
