Qualifications:
- Active ME COTA License required
- Background working in schools, healthcare, or home health settings as a COTA or Occupational Therapist is highly valued
- Experience providing direct and consultative OT services for a range of ages, ideally PreK-12
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across PreK-12, individually and in small groups
- Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and other functional skills within the school environment
- Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Implement therapist-driven strategies to help students access the curriculum and maximize independence
