This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide vital therapy services just outside of Chesterfield, MO, on a part-time basis (1-2 days per week, 8:35am–3:35pm). You’ll deliver both direct and indirect services within the school day, working closely with licensed occupational therapists and multidisciplinary teams. Enjoy the certainty of guaranteed hours and focus on therapy—no outside duties like transportation or afterschool supervision required. Travel therapists may also qualify for additional stipends.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (or eligibility) for the state
- Experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings preferred
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and reliability
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct and indirect services to support student participation and success
- Maintain accurate records according to school and professional standards
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student well-being
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as needed
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of learners
