A contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing services district-wide across four school buildings—including elementary, middle, and high school settings. The COTA will work closely with and receive supervision from the district Occupational Therapist, contributing to an inclusive and supportive environment for student growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, able to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
- Adaptability in supporting a diverse K-12 student population across multiple schools
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under OT supervision
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring student intervention plans
- Contribute to IEP meetings and progress reporting as part of the team
- Provide support in developing strategies and accommodations to help students succeed in the classroom
- Travel between district buildings as assigned
Position Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- 2026-2027 school year (August 25, 2026 – May 28, 2027)
