Your Key Qualifications:
- Active COTA certification and licensure for New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based occupational therapy experience preferred, ideally with preschoolers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and families
- Ability to manage a flexible, itinerant schedule between two sites
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and IDEA guidelines
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to a preschool caseload as outlined in student IEPs
- Travel between two designated schools (only a 7-minute commute apart) to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with lead Occupational Therapists, teachers, and other education professionals to develop strategies that enhance student participation and independence
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Promote self-help, fine motor, sensory integration, and classroom participation skills tailored to each child’s needs
This full-time role covers 32.5 hours per week and launches with the new school year on August 25th.
