Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Corona, CA

Your expertise will help students achieve essential developmental goals and maximize their participation in the classroom and beyond. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and members of the therapy team to create positive, meaningful change.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid COTA certification in good standing
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and classroom settings
• Organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of occupational therapy plans as directed by the supervising OTR
• Assist students in developing functional skills for academic success and daily routines
• Document student progress and collaborate on IEP goals
• Promote strategies for sensory processing, fine motor skills, and self-regulation
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
• Provide feedback and recommendations for teachers and families
