Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid COTA licensure in California
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and interventions tailored to the academic setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, therapists, and families
- Dependable, organized, and compassionate approach to student support
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively within a school context
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Work with students individually and in groups to promote participation in classroom activities
- Assist in implementing IEP goals, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and related service providers to integrate therapy within academic routines
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that nurtures each child’s abilities and confidence
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with all regulatory standards
