School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Corona, California

Required Expertise & Background:
- Valid certification and licensure as a COTA
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school settings strongly preferred
- Comfort collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to support student goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and interaction
- Ability to organize caseloads efficiently and prioritize student needs throughout the week
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students under the guidance and supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized school-based therapy plans designed to improve students’ functional and academic skills
- Track and document student progress, preparing clear notes for evaluation meetings and parent updates
- Assist with the development and adaptation of materials and classroom environments for accessibility
- Participate in team meetings to review and adjust individualized education program (IEP) goals
