Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Fairborn, OH

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification, with recent experience in school-based or pediatric therapy
- Current Pupil Services license (or eligible to obtain before starting)
- Knowledge of best practices for occupational therapy services in educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse ages and abilities across K-12th grade
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans as developed and supervised by an Occupational Therapist
- Work directly with students in individual or small group settings to build functional skills for classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ IEP goals and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Communicate regularly with supervising OT to ensure consistent, quality care
