COTAs have flexibility to set their own schedules, overseen during the onboarding process to ensure all assigned students receive consistent occupational therapy services each week.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly desirable
- Adaptability to work across multiple elementary, middle, and high school sites
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within educational teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Developing and adjusting schedules to meet caseload needs
- Maintaining clear documentation and progress notes on each student
- Engaging with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed
This position offers full-time hours (approx. 7.5 hours per day, roughly 8:00 AM–4:00 PM), with the autonomy to manage your weekly schedule and make a significant impact in the school community.
