You'll enjoy working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing essential services to an elementary caseload.
Your role will focus on delivering school-based occupational therapy support, collaborating closely with teachers and staff at a welcoming elementary school. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 9, 2027, ensuring a stable and rewarding opportunity.
Required Qualifications:
- Active California COTA license
- Prior school-based experience
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT principles
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with school personnel, students, and families
- Comfortable working onsite at the school location
- Available for a Zoom interview
- Organized, detail-oriented, and flexible in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students
- Assist in evaluating students and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the OT team to promote student success
- Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused environment
