Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Los Molinos, CA

Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is highly preferred
- Knowledgeable in adapting therapeutic approaches to a diverse student population
- Comfortable collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering hands-on occupational therapy sessions as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Support the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Provide strategies and tools to teachers and staff to maximize student participation in school routines
- Engage in team meetings and contribute insights for comprehensive student care
