- Experience or keen interest in school-based occupational therapy services
- Ability to manage varying caseloads in multiple locations within the district
- Commitment to fulfilling onboarding requirements, including TB test, Child Protective Registry Check, and fingerprinting ($85 candidate-paid fee)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with students, staff, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Implement prescribed occupational therapy interventions for students with varying needs
- Work closely with supervising OTs and educational teams to execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress
- Adapt strategies to best support student participation and independence in school settings
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Adhere to all district and state guidelines throughout your assignment
