School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Piqua, Ohio

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Active or eligible pupil services license is required for the assignment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for helping students achieve their individualized goals
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy plans designed by an occupational therapist for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting to students’ unique needs in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments
- Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate, offering valuable insights regarding student development
- Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations
