Your expertise will help deliver compassionate and impactful therapy services, promoting student engagement and academic success. The district’s established support structure ensures regular supervision and collaboration with an OT throughout the assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Proven experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to confidently manage a diverse caseload across multiple buildings
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of the district OT
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation and performance
- Adapt and modify learning environments to meet the unique needs of each student
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reports
This contract position runs from August 25, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and offers full-time hours (35 hours per week) within a welcoming, student-focused district.
