Qualifications and Skills:
- Active COTA licensure in California
- Experience or training in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt interventions according to students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Basic understanding of therapy documentation procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy support under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist students in building fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills within the classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and share input as needed
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
