Key Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA certification and Kansas state license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a flexible schedule across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic programs prescribed by supervising occupational therapists
- Support students in achieving specific goals within their IEPs
- Adapt activities and tools to meet students’ individual needs and classroom environments
- Maintain documentation and report progress to supervising OTs
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
