You will play a critical role supporting the district’s on-site Occupational Therapist, participating in the delivery of occupational therapy services that help students thrive. Your experience and dedication will be valued as you implement individualized strategies, facilitate student development, and encourage greater independence in school activities.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania COTA license required
- Experience working with K-12 students, ideally in educational settings
- Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising OT, teachers, and school staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing occupational therapy interventions as directed by the onsite OT
- Carry out activities to support students’ goals, encouraging participation in classroom and school routines
- Document daily progress, observations, and program modifications
- Contribute to team meetings and IEP reviews as appropriate
- Travel between school buildings within the district as needed
