Starting August 27, 2026—the first day of school—you’ll work closely with an Occupational Therapist to enrich the learning experiences of students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA license/certification (CT DPH License and completion of NBCOT Exam)
- Previous experience within a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable supporting students with a broad range of abilities and needs
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites as needed
- Flexible, collaborative, and passionate about student success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions following established treatment plans under OT supervision
- Support student skill development and achievement of IEP goals
- Accurately document progress and maintain required records
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to optimize therapy integration in the classroom
- Adapt interventions to fit the diverse requirements of varying age groups and diagnoses
