Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut COTA license and NBCOT certification, or active Connecticut OT license
- Past experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Comfortable serving a wide age range (Pre-K–12) and working district-wide
- Reliable transportation for campus visits and itinerant responsibilities
- Commitment to fulfilling the duration of the maternity leave assignment, recognizing the contract is initially limited to 12 weeks but may extend
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on individualized education plans (IEPs) and student goals
- Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (if COTA) as required
- Engage in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to support student access and participation
- Document therapy sessions and maintain up-to-date progress reports
- Support students with varied educational backgrounds and disabilities
- Flex adaptability to scheduling as assigned by district needs
