School Occupational Therapist - Albany, Oregon

This itinerant role offers daily variety as you travel to provide individualized support for children, working hand-in-hand with a supportive Early Intervention team. You’ll have plenty of resources and guidance while assessing, planning, and implementing strategies that help children thrive. The position is set to begin in August 2026, kicking off the 2026-27 school year with a meaningful impact from day one.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid, current occupational therapy license
- Previous experience with school-based or early intervention populations
- Strong evaluation, collaborative, and communication skills
- Ability to travel locally as an itinerant clinician
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and creative problem solving
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and delivering therapy tailored for early childhood needs
- Collaborating with families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary evaluation team
- Supporting and adapting strategies across diverse learning settings
- Documenting progress and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing resources and education to caregivers and staff
