Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience with K-12 populations, including elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to develop individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to implement evidence-based interventions and track student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs
- Design and implement therapy interventions supporting academic access, daily living, and social participation
- Work closely with teaching staff and special education teams to integrate therapy goals within the school setting
- Support and educate families on strategies that carry over into the home environment
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings regarding students’ progress
