Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license (OT) for California
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a school-based OT
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Ability to organize caseloads and prioritize student needs efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Passion for making a positive difference in elementary education
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation
- Monitor and report student progress, modifying interventions as necessary
