What you’ll bring:
- Current, active Minnesota OT license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though not mandatory
- Adaptability and willingness to work with a varied caseload (age group details to be determined)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic educational settings
What you’ll do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, with caseload specifics to be assigned
- Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
- Document assessments, treatment goals, and progress in compliance with school policies
- Travel between assigned schools as needed (number of locations to be specified)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to an interdisciplinary educational team
What to expect:
- Contract position with approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Assignment starts as soon as possible and is expected to last 3–4 months, with potential for extension
