Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in Michigan
- Previous experience delivering OT services in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized plans for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities within the academic setting and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services, consult with staff, and recommend environmental adaptations as needed
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational goals and participation in school routines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
