School Occupational Therapist | Anoka, Minnesota
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and success as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Anoka, MN. There are three positions available—two full-time roles spanning the school year, and one long-term substitute covering the first few months (exact dates to be determined). You’ll work with a dedicated caseload of 20-40 students, all within one building, creating both stability and the chance to foster meaningful connections.
Start your journey on 9/8/26 and make a lasting impact through 6/10/27, dedicating 37.5 hours per week during regular school hours.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with eligibility to practice in schools
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric OT preferred
- Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Passion for working with diverse student populations and adapting interventions
Role Highlights:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions that facilitate student engagement and participation
- Serve a caseload of students requiring specialized support in Setting 4 programs
- Collaborate with educators and special education staff to integrate therapy into daily school routines
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP and team meetings
- Provide ongoing support and recommendations to educators and caregivers
