Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with prior experience in school-based settings
- Skilled in planning and delivering therapy for students ages 5-21 with diverse needs
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Flexible and adaptable to changing support requirements throughout the school year
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to identified students
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, collect data, and generate comprehensive progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom activities and environments
- Engage in team meetings, parent communications, and student planning sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with school and district requirements
