Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Minnesota required
- Prior experience in K-12 educational settings, with a preference for knowledge of setting 4 programming
- Proficiency supporting a caseload of 20-40 students with varying needs
- Strong collaborative skills for working with other educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent time management, adaptability, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on functional, academic, and social-emotional success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Coordinate, consult, and collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support holistic student development
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, screenings, and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Provide staff in-services and training as needed to promote inclusion and understanding
This is a rewarding contract role offering 37.5 hours per week. You'll be supporting students within a single, welcoming educational building while benefiting from the diverse environments of South, North, Ann Bremer, or West Education Centers.
