School Occupational Therapist | Anoka, Minnesota
Make an immediate impact on students’ lives as an Occupational Therapist supporting school-based special education services. This contract role offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time schedules available to match your availability and career goals. Located near Anoka, MN, you’ll help empower students to achieve greater independence and participate fully in their educational environments.
As a valued member of the team, you’ll work on-site, collaborating closely with educational staff and families, while utilizing your expertise to provide direct therapy and develop individualized intervention strategies. Caseload assignments will offer meaningful variety, including opportunities to support students in Setting IV placements and other specialized settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience working in a school-based OT setting
- Demonstrated ability to support diverse learners with specialized needs
- Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check
- Reliable transportation to and between assignment locations
- Ability to commit to the full length of your assignment, following the school calendar
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver and document therapeutic OT interventions for students, following individualized plans
- Collaborate with special education teams to promote student progress
- Adapt activities and environments to maximize students’ participation and performance
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, teachers, and related service providers
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school and district policies
