Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Occupational Therapist license required
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Confident providing services at multiple school sites
- Comfortable supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite across four schools
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document treatment activities and progress in alignment with school and legal guidelines
- Oversee and support a COTA, ensuring quality of care and professional growth
- Participate in relevant meetings, contribute to IEP processes, and provide training or resources as needed
