This full-time contract opportunity runs Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with flexibility for two part-time professionals if preferred. Begin as soon as possible and become part of a team of eight experienced OTs dedicated to making a difference in students’ lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes
- Strong assessment skills for conducting initial and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
- Comfortable collaborating with other professionals and school staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide OT services to students at two middle schools, addressing a wide range of needs
- Participate actively in building-level teams to review student progress and determine support plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare evaluation reports
- Deliver MTSS and IEP support, including direct interventions and consultative services
- Collaborate with staff and families to promote generalization and carryover of therapeutic skills
- Maintain clear, timely records and contribute to team meetings and professional development
