Occupational Therapist School Setting - Auburn, CA

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience working in schools, ideally in California
- Background supporting moderate to severe caseloads is highly valued
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities
- Comfortable working independently in an itinerant, onsite role
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and connect with diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility evaluations
- Consult with teachers and families, offering strategies to enhance student participation in the classroom
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, ensuring comprehensive care coordination
- Travel within the assignment area to support multiple school sites as needed
