Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and relevant federal/state regulations
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility to support a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and deliver interventions to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional school skills
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs, participating in meetings as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (educators, speech, PT, etc.) to ensure holistic student support
- Educate staff and families on strategies to improve student access and participation
- Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and timely reporting
- Adapt therapy approaches to align with classroom activities and a diverse student population
