This part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators and families, supporting a manageable caseload of students while focusing on delivering impactful, individualized interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 20 students in a charter school setting
- Perform evaluations and reassessments to determine each student’s needs and progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Consult with teaching staff to adapt classroom activities and materials
- Maintain clear documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations for accommodations and modifications
- Educate and work with families and caregivers to support continuity of care
- Uphold best practices and stay current with developments within the field
