Make a direct impact by supporting student success as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Aurora, CO. This contract opportunity spans from mid-August 2026 through May 2027, providing dedicated services onsite to a diverse group of students. With a manageable caseload of 20, you’ll form meaningful connections and collaborate closely with educators and families in a vibrant school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (OT) required
- Prior experience supporting students in a school environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for empowering students to achieve independence and academic participation
- Ability to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
- Reliable availability for in-person, onsite work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to a caseload of approximately 20 students, onsite only
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Assess students’ functional skills and create personalized intervention strategies
- Document progress, participate in meetings, and provide recommendations for classroom modifications
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school atmosphere, fostering growth and participation
