Key Qualifications:
- Hold or actively apply for a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license; applicants must provide proof of application if not yet certified.
- Experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families.
- Commitment to fostering independence, improving life skills, and enhancing student participation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, supporting both IEP and 504 plans.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions to address fine motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
- Conduct student assessments and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and caregivers to promote generalization of skills.
