Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Illinois OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings is highly valued
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students as outlined in their IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans, adapting activities to support each student’s unique needs
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other team members
- Document services, progress notes, and maintain compliance with legal and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal development
