Your expertise will help ensure consistency in services during a 12-week FMLA leave, with the potential for extension depending on district needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri
- Previous experience as a school-based OT is strongly desired
- Comfortable providing therapy to a diverse student population, age group to be determined
- Able to complete required fingerprinting and submit TCN confirmation promptly
- Willingness to sign and submit required technology usage forms per district policy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services on-site within the assigned school(s) for the length of the leave
- Manage a caseload—number of schools and students to be confirmed upon assignment
- Implement IEP goals, collaborate with educational and support staff, and participate in student evaluations as needed
- Maintain clear, timely records in alignment with district and federal requirements
- Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere
