Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid OT license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both with students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct OT services to students, focusing on skills required for classroom participation and daily functioning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to design and implement effective strategies for student achievement
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise and progress reports
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
