Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
- Documenting assessments, progress notes, and treatment sessions in accordance with school and district policies.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expert insights to guide student support plans.
- Adapting interventions to best fit each student’s unique needs and educational objectives.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
- A solid understanding of IEP processes and collaborative service delivery.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
