Make a difference in students’ lives as a contract Occupational Therapist in school settings near Bellevue, WA. Multiple positions are available with varying start dates and FTEs, offering an opportunity to tailor your assignment to your preferences and availability. Your skills will support mostly elementary students with one middle school caseload, working collaboratively to enhance student participation and success.
Positions Available:
- 0.8 FTE: August 28 - December 18
- 1.0 FTE: October 10 - March 1, 2027
- 0.6 FTE: August 28 - End of school year
- 0.8 FTE: November 1 - May 1, 2027
- 1.0 FTE: September 22 - December 4, 2027
As a valued part of this team, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 36 students, developing and implementing therapy plans that address their unique needs within the educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation processes
Responsibilities:
- Screen, evaluate, and assess students referred for occupational therapy services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct therapy and consult with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
