In this position, you will:
- Deliver direct therapy services, working onsite with a middle school student for 30 minutes each week
- Evaluate and document progress, developing individualized interventions to support academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, family members, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to occupational therapy in the school setting
- Utilize your understanding of occupational therapy best practices in schools, home health, and broader healthcare environments
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide insights into student progress and recommend strategies for classroom and home use
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Comfort working independently with one-on-one student caseloads
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Adaptability, organization, and a strong sense of professional responsibility
