Occupational Therapist School Setting - Blaine, WA

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work full-time with a diverse caseload of over 50 students, empowering children to achieve their full potential through individualized therapy and support.
This contract position is perfect for those who thrive in an educational environment and are eager to provide direct care in a single school location. With a 35-hour workweek and a clear schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, you’ll have the structure and continuity needed to build strong connections with students and collaborate effectively with educators.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with active credentials
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools (required)
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50+ students with varying needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable adapting therapy plans within a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support student functional skills to enhance their participation in academic and daily activities
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student success
- Monitor progress, adapt plans, and ensure continuity of care
