Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience working in school settings, supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapeutic evaluations and assessments for students identified through the IEP process
- Develop personalized treatment plans that address fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in collaboration with teachers and school staff
- Document sessions, maintain compliance with school and state guidelines, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support student goals
- Educate school personnel and families on sensory and motor strategies for classroom success
