Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working within school systems is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Comfort working with diverse student populations spanning grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt therapy plans as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, promoting their participation and success in school activities
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Consult and collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
- Deliver both individual and group sessions, tailored to each student's unique needs
- Maintain timely and organized records, adhering to compliance standards and reporting requirements
