Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brighton, CO

In this part-time, onsite contract position, you'll collaborate within a supportive educational environment and play a crucial role in enhancing students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills. This opportunity covers the school year from August 13, 2026, to May 20, 2027, serving a caseload of 20 students, and allows you to make a meaningful difference while enjoying work-life balance with a flexible 16-hour workweek.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license, valid for the state
- School-based OT experience preferred, with knowledge of supporting students in educational environments
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, student assessments, and goal setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to comply with any district- or state-specific credentials or requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and support services to a diverse caseload of 20 students onsite
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, addressing students’ unique needs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEPs
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide regular feedback to educators and families
- Collaborate with school staff to promote the generalization of skills in classroom settings
