Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Current and valid OT licensure in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for fostering student independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for OT services
- Develop and carry out targeted intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one sessions to promote fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Provide staff and family education as needed on strategies for student success
