Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, valid OT license in the state
- Previous school-based OT experience or relevant pediatric background preferred
- Ability to perform student assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine intervention needs and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to support students’ academic and functional abilities
- Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting interventions as needed throughout the school year
