Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school-based OT setting is required
- Completion of agency onboarding and the required district background check
- Reliable transportation for travel to and from the assignment location
- Ability to adhere to the school schedule and the timeframe of each assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students receiving special education support
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure positive outcomes
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings, as necessary
- Adapt services and interventions according to the diverse needs of each caseload
